Hey guys, I'm going to purchase one of these monitors, both with very good reviews, but I wanted to get your input as to which (if any) would be slightly better for gaming purposes?

1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... This is also $119 from Tigerdirect, no HDMI though.

2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $129 after promo code.

Slightly better NewEgg customer ratings.

Acer S220HQLAbd is actually $139 with shipping @ NewEgg.
How much was shipping at TD?

Correct... no tax on the Left Coast.
If missing HDMI doesn't sweat you - either one is a good choice.

Well, i dont exactly have the budget for a Dell Ultrasharp or something of that nature. Something in the $100-$150 ish range. Explain whats so "rubbish" about them?

Hi :)

Price = Quality...

I own Computer shops that sell Monitors in the UK...

We sell a 22 inch monitor for £95 and another for £300...which do you think is the better monitor...

All the best Brett :)

Generally, that goes with anything. But most of the reviews are very good on the 2nd monitor, with very few minor issues. If everyone was saying the monitor was garbage, then obviously I'd look elsewhere.
