The reviewer failed to notice that the board has no PATA (aka ATA or IDE) connectors, preventing him from using his old CD/DVD drive. Any CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive made today will probably have a SATA connector and work just fine with the motherboard

So continuing my previous post, if you buy a 500GB HDD for $85
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148767

That brings the total up to $510.

Spending an extra $90 on your graphics card would make your graphics much more stellar:
GTX 560 Ti: $210 before MIR

You're now up to $600

Tom's Hardware reviewing squad seems to like this cooler for $50:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835288001

So you're now at $650

Add in a CD/DVD Burner for another $20 and you're at $670

You can also peruse some of the following links for more options on coolers:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-cooler-charts,1967-9.html

Granted you'll have to check with any cooler you get to make sure it's LGA1155 compatible...
