AMD build using either A6-3650 or A8-3870

Build: Windows 7 64bit (already purchased so dont need to buy)
Requirements:
1) Want Case to have usb3.0 capability
2) Want MOB to have onboard usb3.0 connections to plug case connectors into
2b) Want MOB to have VGA and DVI connections
3) Keyboard and Mouse already have and they are usb 2.0 connections
4) DVD burner
5) HD: Was thinking of a 1T HD but maybe this is overkill. Have lots of pictures , movies and songs so i was thinking of 1TB HD.
6) RAM: Want at 8G of ram. I was thinking based on discussons on TOms's already that DD3 1600 would be good.
7) Since CPU already has onboard video chip dont want to spend extra for video card. They are running a special on the A8-3870.

Questions:
I have three builds listed. Builds 2 and 3 are the same except for the MOB. Build3 is the most expensive and I kinda like the more expensive one but because of the MOB choice i cant get combo deals which bumps the cost up.
But i am not sure i need the more expensive board. I would like some input on this one if possible.

Also the memory.....the RAM............there is just so much to choose from. How does one decide which to get?


Note: This computer will not be used for gaming. Mainly surfing, emails, skype and such.

There's no such thing as too much storage - if you get a smaller HD and it fills up, you'll have to add another one anyways.

Actually most AMD CPUs don't process speeds beyond 1333 (yet). The thing is your motherboard will always default to the lowest speeds and timings it can handle.

The Llano is an excellent CPU for what it does. The only bad thing is say you do want to add a video card in the future your PSU will be a bit underpowered. You might want to spend the extra money and get the 500W or 600W version.

The third build you have is definitely the best that's the one I'd say go for.

I am going to go with build#2. That board was a Toms hardware best buy and should suit my needs fine i think.

Do you think there will be an issue with the case usb3.0 connectors and the MOB on-board usb3.0 connectors?
