MSI or Nvidia Drivers ?

Hi, I have a MSI GT 240 DDR3 Graphic Card. I installed the latest drivers MSI site has given(258.96). After some time i see that the drivers crash and recover. I'm using Windows 7 32bit.

I need to know,
Is there a difference between Nvidia drivers and the MSI drivers ?
Is it okey to update my card with the Nvidia drivers ?
