Hello
My pc was running this morning like normal this morning but after I went outside for 30mins and came back to find it switched off and cannot turn it back on there are also no lights on the GPU or mobo also when opened the case I found a loose screw rattling around on the bottom of the case
Cooler: V6GT
PSU- antec true power 650
Case- zalman z11 plus
Any suggestions As to what happened? The screw wasn't in the PSU but still think it might have shorted the psu

Hello !

I would be really surprised if the screw has shorted something in your PC, especially since your PSU is bottom-mounted.

I see only 2 possible explanations :

#1 You PSU died. That happens. Try another PSU in your PC and see if it boots up. However, sometimes when PSU die they also kill the whole computer. You'd have to be really unlucky but it's a possibility.

#2 Have you checked the circuit breaker in your house to see if it was tripped ?

Good luck,
