Approximate Purchase Date: 1 week 2 at the most

Budget Range: 600-700$

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, VMs, everything else computers are capable of doing.

Parts Not Required: KB/Mouse, OS(win7 64bit), Monitor (1680x1050), GPU (HD5770), HDD(1TB).

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg, NCIX, Amazon (anything with free shipping)

Country: US (WA, so no micro center)

Parts Preferences: going intel CPU, still up in the air nvida/AMD but i wont be upgrading GPU until i move to a 1080 monitor

Overclocking: not at first, i plan to cool using all-in-one corsair/antec H2o system later (i like having the remote reservoir so i don't have a bulky rad in the middle of my case.)

SLI or Crossfire: not at first, but keeping the option open for later.

Monitor Resolution: 20inch widescreen 1680x1050

Additional Comments: Im building this CPU in two phases, i first plan to buy a new MOBO/CPU/RAM/CASE +PSU. and then later(after tax return) i will buy a new monitor + GPU (thinking 23" and a 570/6970 but that may change)

CPU: i5-2500k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072
Mobo: Asus P8Z68-V LE http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131773
Ram: g.skill 8gb low voltage http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231461
PSU: SeaSonic M12II 620w Bronze http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095
case: Corsair Carbide Series 300R http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139011
optical: sata dvd burner

price for above comes to ~620 w/shipping so there is some room to change things.

I was looking @ buying a 750w for "just in case" i SLI/CF but i did that with my last build and never ended up using my 750w for SLI and when the PSU died i bought a 400w antec eco for my current single GPU/C2D setup... so if i do decide to CF/SLI i probably need to need upgrade for a 620w correct?

i've been tossing this around for a week, and want to see others opinions on this build.

Thanks!
