Help needed to trigger Nalia's father's funeral

Title says it all really. I went to de'Arnise keep, cleared it, got the
quest reward (about 45,000xp per character). She offered to join the
party, I accepted. Went back to town, hung about for a week. Guides say
that about a week after finishing the keep quest a messenger turns up
to tell you to go to the graveyard for her dad's funeral, but it's not
happening. She's still in my party, 9 days have passed, I've walked all
round the slums, Waukeen's promenade, the city gates, the temple
district and the docks. No sign of any messenger.

Am I missing something? Is there some other condition to trigger the
funeral message?
