I PURCHASED A GIGAFAST EE410-R ROTUER
BECAUSE MY LYNKSYS WENT OUT.
ANY WAY I WAS ON NEWEGG.COM AND I SAW THIS ROUTER FOR ABOUT $20. AND IT HAS A 3 YEAR WARRANTY. SO I SAID WHAT THE HELL.
I GOT IT HOME AND I JUST PLUGED IT IN AND BAMM I WAS ONLINE. I CALLED TECH SUPPORT (IT'S IN THE US AND I DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT 45MIN). I WANTED TO ENABLE THE FIREWALL THAT IS BUILT IN. AND IN 5 MIN I WAS DONE.
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This might sound crazy..

but if you buy any brand router or switch, I'm sure it's a good product in most cases and it does what they claim it does.

It's not surprising.. other brands are recommended because of their support and wide availability.
