Finally biting the bullet

Hello everyone, it's has been a while since I last posted in this forum. It's good to be back. Now, based on prices out there I finally deceided to upgrade my system. I will be purchasing the ASUS Sabertooth MB and the Sapphire 6950 1GB VGR. However, I'm a little hesitant when it comes to CPU's. I presently have an AMD 965 cpu. But, I want to upgrade to one which would give the best bang for money and would not break the bank. Thus, I'm asking the community for suggestions. Thank you ahead of time for any help in this regard.
