I hope you know this is redundant since out of these companies... only a few actually make psus. Most companies buy PSUs from these manufacturers and sell them under their own brand name........

P.S. The best units from most of the top end companies are based on Seasonic units....

Seasonic and Enermax are the only 2 manufacturers listed. Both are quite good. All the others are resellers.

Saw this same thread last month too :ange:

Most ?
3 out of 10
Antec uses some
Corsair uses a few, most of thiers are CWT
And of course Seasonic
Went thru all of this last month also
Now all we need is for someone to ask " Why no PCP&C ? "

^ Ok why no PC Power and Cooling? And no Flextronics love? Can't forget them and their share of the Corsair market. ;) Actually it is the best rated Corsair power supply. 9.8 from jonnyguru.

And once again Thermaltake and Coolermaster are not only in the running they are getting votes! And Gigabyte?

Ok..where so you guys find the oem info? :/

Based on reviews. When reviewers take apart power supplies; they can usually find out who made what based on design and components used.

There's a chart out there too but it's outdated.
Corsair TX V2 / HX/ and AX are all seasonic based units. TXM and TXV1, CX are CWT. Original VX were seasonic.

Antec uses a mix of seasonic and delta.

XFX is all seasonic.

Seasonic only makes some Corsair power supplies. CWT makes more than Seasonic does and their best power supply ( highest rated AX1200 ) is made by Flextronics.

Ok..where so you guys find the oem info? :/

Here:

http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm

It is NOT outdated. It's very up to date and even includes future models not released yet ( no reviews for them yet of course ).

I voted other: XFX

No, the topic is "which brand". Not "who makes" the best PSUs.

If you have the UL code that all decent PSU have, you can find it here: http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/index.html

Sorry, but that AX1200 line is made by Corsair himself, if you check the UL code (E307858) in the page, you can find that info.

It's made by Flextronics ( they also provide Dell with some of thier units )

Several "brands" now have thier own UL number

Good reviews are the way to go anymore

^ Flextronics makes it.

Corsair does not have any fabrication facilities.
