Loud XFX Pro 650W

Hello everyone,

I bought a XFX Pro 650W power supply about a week and a half ago, and I've noticed it to be really loud (like the fan is at 100%). It does this even if I'm idling, and the air coming out the back is cold. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can do to slow it down, or should I get a replacement?

Sounds like a malfunctioning temp sensor. I would rma it for a replacement.

regardless of what the problem is its not a good idea to try and guess and play with PSU'S if there is some thing serious wrong and a fall safe breaks you can toast your system.
