Hi there :hello:

Well, to keep it short. I have stumbled in to the world of 3D modeling. Up until now I have use dual 23" Samsung BX2350, but nature called by thunder and wanted
one of my screens :pfff:

So now im thinking of buying a new screen in the 23-27" size and I want a professional/abov average screen.

Sins the price for professional screens are rahter high I would like to know what im geting, and if it is worth the money.

I have been looking at:

24" NEC PA241W-BK
24"Eizo CG241WKDTP

27" Samsung S27A850DS
27" Eizo SX2762WF-BK
27" Fujitsu P Line P-27T-6 IPS
27" NEC PA271W-BK  <---
30" HP ZR30w

I like the idea of the 27" screens due to the higher res and work space but im open for suggestions and experiance.

What really matters to me is good colors and easy to look at for hours and hours and in the 23/24"+ size =)

If it has a low respons time for some light gameing wont hurt anyone either I guess, but geting everything isnt always an option I have come to learn...

The NECs aren't going to be good for gaming due to high input lag. The Samsung has bad backlight bleeding issues.

I don't know about the Eizos or the Fujitsum.

The HP ZR30w is a good panel. IMHO It's the best 30" panel for gaming due to it's lack of a scalar and OSD, but as long as you have a half decent video card, you can adjust the scaling and color settings on that.

I have an hp zr2740w and a dell u3011. They are both good. The only downside to the HP is that their AR coatings are a bit over the top. The u3011 is pretty much exactly the same as the ZR30w only with a scalar, I like it.
