It's finally time to upgrade to a new PC. What better place toask than the experts here!

Approximate Purchase Date: I plan to purchase this computer in he next couple weeks. I may wait longer depending on information about the new kepler chips releasing.

Budget Range: somewhere around $1200

System Usage from Most to Least Important: for the most part I will use this as a gaming rig for the next 4 years or so.

Parts Not Required: I don't really need speakers, but I may grab a set eventually. I also don't think I will have a need for a mouse or keyboard. <3 my mx518.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I will use newegg mostly unless there is amazing prices.somewhere else.

Country: US

Parts Preferences: I am an intel/nvdia kind of guy. I also plan on getting a corsair psu

Overclocking: Maybe.

SLI or Crossfire: Eventually.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments:

Here is what I am looking at right now.

CPU: i7 2600k, but it there isn't a huge upgrade I may drop to the i5 2500k.

Mobo: asrock z68 extreme3 gen3.

This mobo looked good with some nice features like pcie 3.0. Any help with another mobo that would work better? Any reviews on this one?

Case: Lian Li all the way!

Storage: I already purchased this plexor ssd.

It was a super deal yesterday with the shell shocker.

I am looking at this seagate hd as well.

RAM: I have always been a fan of corsair products.

Graphic: this I am stuck on. I plan to wait for the new kepler cards to be released, but I hat the waiting game! Is there any nice options I can get for now, bit then upgrade with the evga upgrade program?

PSU: This is another pickle I am stuck with. I know I will get a corsair modular psu, but I am not sure about the amount of power I will use. Here is the 1050 watt I am looking at now.

Blu ray: I will just grab some LG burner. Any other brands good?

Monitors: I am looking at 3 choices.

Thanks for any help or advice you all may have!

I plan on using Windows 7 64 bit as well.

I may also mess around with some video editing.

Plextor aren't very good, Corsair RAM isn;t the best, and you'll need 850W at most. Downgrade the case and maybe get a 6850/70 or 560/Ti
