You are supposed to set up your monitors in a "surround" so that the side screens act as peripheral vision. That's why the edges are stretched. You aren't supposed to look at the side screens much.

Change your resolution.... some games will stretch the entire length and cause things like your 'Mini-map' to be wayyyy in the bottom left corner of the left screen... when in fact you would rather have it in the bottom left corner of the middle screen....

change your resolutions in game... see if that helps, otherwise, it is just how the game uses eyefinity.

5760 = 5 monitors.... go down to to like 3xxx... make sure you are changing this resolution setting IN GAME

Hey Dave,

I just setup a 3x1920x1080 nvidia surround system. I am using 2 gtx470s. The problem is MW3 does not allow you to adjust aspect ratio or field of view. Thats were wide screen fixer comes in.

I was only able to get wide screen fixer to work correctly with MW3 when in Advanced resolution options I set the "image quality" setting to "native".
For some reason wide screen fixer does not work when that image quality option is set to low medium or high. It sort of works in game but the hud and menus are all stretched and messed up.

I dont know why.... Trouble is my computer quad q9650 at 3.6g and 2 gtx470s has trouble getting good frames at 5760x1080 at "native". I am going to guess your 6870 will struggle as well.

if you have 3 1920x1080 monitors your resolution becomes 3x1920=5760. That is your width. The hight is unchanged at 1080. So your extra wide resolution is 5760x1080.
MW3 can do that resolution however the aspect ratio can not go higher than 1920/1080 = 1.77. You need wide screen fixer to correct for the new ratio of 5760/1080=5.33

If only they gave it an adjustable aspect ratio like they did in BF3.

check widescreengamingforum

a bunch of games have issues with eyefinity (amongst which COD series) and people make fixes for these games.

A lot of other games work fine out of the box though

the game patched about a week or 2 ago to version 1.44something. Make sure your plug in for wide screen fixer is the newest one. It was posted on the widescreen fixer website on 11-21-11. Make sure in the wide screen fixer program you select mw3 mp or sp with the correct 1.4 version number.

Then in mw3 set your graphics to native.

Honestly i have more luck fooling arround with SoftTH than i do with the nvidia or ATI control panels. I have a xfire setup with 5870s in one rig and two 470 gtxs in the other and they both work better with SoftTH.

I used soft triple head in the past. It is a great program, and it even lets use different resolution monitors, but it still wont solve for the fov/aspect ratio problem. If the game does not allow you to adjust that setting you need to work around it with a tool like wide screen fixer.

Any one know of another way to adjust FOV or aspect ratio in games? MW3 in this case?
