Hello i got some help getting this setup from another forum and was wanting more input on it. It sounds awesome for my budget (approx 600). So anyways what do you think? How powerful should it be. Will i be able to play stuff like skyrim and GW2 with ease etc etc. I'm new at this and just wanting to be 100% sure before i commit to buying this

For a budget build that is pretty good actually, and you are very wise for choosing the X4 over the FX-4100 due to all the problems it's been having. But the PSU is a bit underpowered for the 6870, you need minimum a 550W.

NZXT cases are really good but more of the higher end models are. You might want to take a look at something like the Cooler Master HAF 912.

XFX, Corsair, and Antec are all solid choices. Seasonic would be the best but they're quite a bit more.
