Graphic card suitable for my gigabyte g31 motherboard

i have intel core2duo processor, gigabyte g31 motherboard, 3gb ddr2 ram, 500gb hard disk, 19 inch lcd monitor
i am going to buy a 1gb ddr3 graphic card for my desktop so can u suggest me graphic cards from ati or nvidia suitable to my system under a reasonable rate and i would prefer to buy ati so send me suggestions for any of the above co.

Hi, what is your Power Supply? Does it have pcie connector?
Seem like your system is an old system. Do it have PciE 2.0?

And why should it be ddr3? That means you don't accept GDDR5?
