I have : ASUS M2A-VM-HDMI Motherboard, and
AMD ATHLON X64 3GHz CPU (ADX6000IAA6CZ)
NVIDIA GEFORCE 8500GT 512MB PCI-e GRAPHICS
NVIDIA 4x 1GB = 4 GB PC2 6400 Dual Chnl. RAM

ASUS Motherboard manual recomends to install Windows XP or Vista OS. but DOES NOT State, if 32 Bit or 64 Bit ? Would I have any issues installing XP Pro-64 Bit or Win7 64 Bit edition to my above system ? before I order, I'll appreciate if someone can clearify this and advice me..
Thanks.

don't know if the Bios and Drivers are latest ?
My second question is : Should I get Win-XP Pro 64 Bit, or Win-7 Pro 64Bit
and where can I order the OEM. OS. CD. cheapest ? Thanks..

You should be able to check what the current set of drivers are on the respective websites.

Providing that the article on Microsoft Answers is correct, i see no reason not to get Windows 7.

With regards to where to purchase it from that would depend on where you live.
