64 bit pc configuration for designing and video editing

Hello,I would like to know whether 64 bit PC is good for Designing Graphics along with Video Editing? And what is the processor I should use? Now In India i 5, i7 are available. What Type I should use?

mousum the 64bit aspect is just a different instruction set that in lamen terms, will allow you to address more than 3.25gb ram at once. Other than that, hardware is hardware, it basically all supports 64bit instruction. Like the stig said the Ivys are good stuff, and his recommendation of the Professional series graphics card is going to be a standout with your video editing.

Waaait. Guys don't lead him into that 64 bits is just an instruction thing.
He wants it for designing not gaming.
Trust me on this, Photoshop 64bit is better when it comes to big files.
When you start making multilayered projects at 300 DPI for printing then you'll like the extra RAM you can put in there.
CS6 is going full 64bits as far as i know and i can't wait.
Illustrator CS4 is 32bits and sometimes i get the "out of memory" message because of all the stuff in there.
