Hello, I just bought an HP Pavillion desktop on sale (model p6-2003it) with the intention of upgrading its graphics card to an Asus/nVidia GTX 560 TI. There's no power supply connector for the card's auxiliary power supply. This may seem pretty stupid for you guys who do this kind of stuff all the time, but did I goof because the system doesn't have a powerful enough power supply? Can I simply switch out the power supply in the case? What should I get to be safe? Would I have to change any settings on the motherboard or anything else first? Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I come here occasionally to read the articles.
