Okay I hope other components is the right category btw, closes I could find.
Okay I have a soundbar with two rca inputs and an optical input. I have tried two different Rca to stereo 1/8 (i think that is sound card size), and when that did not work I even replaced my sound blaster card with one that had an s/pdif out and tried running optical to soundbar. None of this has worked I checked the cables and even plugged up my old computer speakers and everything is working find, just does not seem to want to work together? Driver updates, full driver deleting and re-installing, turning of mobo sound in bios nothing. Is this not supposed to work? Or is there something I am missing or not thinking off? Thanks in advance for all the help.
