I'm in no way a fan of this software. It lacks a true speed test and doesn't display the current buffer usage. To me, it seems like a poor substitute for Adaptec. Since HP didn't ship Adaptec with my burner, they won't provide support for the problems my burner is having with it, thus I'm forced to use their software.

Does anyone know if it is possible to burn CDs from images using this software? If so, then how.

Nero is the way to go. The software is awesome!! You have a very good chance of finding a serial # for it on the Gnutella network also.

Either Nero or Cdrwin are good for copying/backing up. Nero is a little more versatile than Cdrwin. Although, Nero refused to back up TR3 for me, but Cdrwin had no problem with it.
You might give either of these a shot.

You are reffering to HP My CD by Veritas??? Absolutly the worst. My 9500i came with this instead of Adaptec. I was ok with that untill I installed my own copy of Adaptec EZCD to find it was not compatible with the drive. Nero is what I eventually turned to and was sold after the first use. I do not even worry about Adaptec becoming compatible because I am so happy with Nero...try it, made me like my HP drive...

I am building a new system and purchased the HP 9350i. I currently have an HP 9110i. The 9110i came with Adaptec, the 9350i has My CD. It sucks. Right now both HP writers are on my current system. HOWEVER, the 9350i cannot use the Adaptec program! How do I get this Nero?!

You can download a demo at:

As previoulsy stated you can probably find a serial # on Gnutella.

I really like "BearShare". I've tried Gnotella also.
