Installing radion 5830

I just got this computer and when I hook up the hdmi to the 5830 i get no signal on the screen, powered up i see no activity (fan etc) on the card though the computer is working or at least its on

Is this an used or new Computer? Does the card have a 6 pin connecter to it or not from the power supply? Can you also psot your specs?

What is the model of your power supply? Does the computer work without the card? I wold recommend that if you just installed that 5830 that you use DVI or VGA first to get a picture; sometimes a HDMI port will not work without the drivers. What is the model of your comptuer?
