Is thermal paste needed?

Stock AMD and Intel heatsinks come with thermal paste pre-applied. Some aftermarket coolers do some don't.

Does this cpu come with a stock heatsink?

The link didn't work it brought me to a Basiq power supply. If you're buying an Intel or AMD CPU in retail packaging then you don't need to apply thermal paste because it will come with the heatsink.

yeah that um "pre-applied" thermal paste i would not just trust that little bit of paste my new CPU heat sink had it i still don't trust that little bit of thermal paste so i went out and bought some thermal paste. so if i was you id go buy some thermal paste just to be sure, but that's me....
