My Canon A70 is pretty old hat by now but does most of what I want.
Something it doesn't appear to do is Time Lapse. I've read somewhere
that it is possible to do time lapse with the camera hooked up to a
computer. There's nothing about this in my manual so could someone
please point me to a web site or whatever.

Barry,
here is a link to a review of the A95 & remote/time lapse
software that will work with many Canon P&S digital camera models &
offers more features than the program Canon offers:
The previous page shows the Canon software which I think is a
free download on their web site.
Hope this helps you & or others.
Respectfully, DHB
