New Budget Build Advice

Approximate Purchase Date: About 3 days

Budget Range: $400-$450

System Usage from Most to Least Important: some gaming, surfing, downloading

Parts Not Required: keyboard, monitor, mouse, HDD, GPU(will get in the future)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts:

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: open to all options

Overclocking: maybe

SLI or Crossfire: no

Monitor Resolution: 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x900, 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, 1920x1200

Additional Comments:
Im a little stuck here. I actually ordered all these parts about 5 hours ago and just cancelled my order :fou:  . The reason, was reading the forums and too many people were saying how the i3 out performs these new amd+ cpus.

For your budget, that looks solid to me! I am not entirely sure about the CPU, but I am a noob at AMD CPUs, so I'll leave it be. :p

The i3-2120 DOES perform better. I've also included a better power supply so it doesn't limit the graphics card you get later on as much. I would recommend getting the case I've posted because its of higher quality.
