Hello, I am looking to make some major upgrades to my stock Gateway DX4831-01e.

Current Specs:
300w PSU
6gbs DDR3
Intergraded Graphics and sound
128mb

I am currently looking at this graphics card:
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=57362&vpn=012-P3-1572-AR&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1067

I figured I need a bigger PSU, so I was looking at this:
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=33041&vpn=OCZ600MXSP&manufacture=OCZ%20Technology&promoid=1141

Later down the road I am looking at adding this processor:
http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=42497&vpn=BX80605I7870&manufacture=Intel

Will this work in my system and/or are there any changes I should make?

Im going to be using this computer for gaming, and recording for youtube. The resolution 1920x1080 on my monitor and that is what I prefer to play my games in. I also would like to be able to play them in the highest possible settings.

Thanks in advance, and help or recommendations are strongly appreciated!!!

You night wish to consult this chart regarding the COU upgrade. In general, until you go up three slots, you will not see any improvement. Also, the 1156 socket is essentially dead, so you may be throwing good money after bad.

I would also check the length of that graphics card vs. the space in your case to make sure it will fit.

The PSU will be fine. I have one and it is very good.

Oops! Sorry. I confused your post with another earlier one with a similar Gateway system. He already had a graphics card and I see you are still on integrated. Ignore the chart thing.

Just make sure the card fits, and the new OCZ PSU will be fine.
