Hi,

I have built a Media PC using an Intel i3-540 Core i3 Dual-Core Processor with on-board HDMI output. This connects to a Samsung PS42E7HX/XEC TV. I have tested this several times and it was working fine, but now I just get 'No Signal'. I have tried all combination of power up sequence.

I have plugged my laptop into the HDMI cable to the TV and that works fine, suggesting that the TV and cable are OK. I have used another HDMI cable to plug a different TV into the media PC and that works fine, suggesting that the PC is OK.

Any ideas what can be wrong here? It has me baffled.

Thanks
Mick

The only possibilities I can think of:

Is either of your connections loose? HDMI is an all or nothing thing, if it slides out just a little of one connector it will kill all signal.

Did you connect to a computer monitor when not connected to the tv? If so, did you change your resolution? If you did, it is possible that you chose a resolution that is outside of the tv's range. I know my tv's limit is 1920x1080 (pretty sure). If I go above that setting, then I get the 'No Signal'

If this is not the case, then good luck because I have no clue.

Hope this may help.
