I've been looking at a budget build computer for awhile now that my laptop got a bath it pushed up my need for one. I was looking at getting a 3870k llano with a 6670 for xfire, but I noticed I could get a fx4100 and a 6770 for almost the same price I was curious what the community think also I hear that a phenom 960t is also in the close price range. This computer is built for gaming nothing like call of duty older games like WooW and SWTOR thanks all

Windows 7 doesn't really play nice with the fx chips so they are not fully functioning as per their full specs yet. So its not really a chip most would recomend. In most tests the phenoms are surpassing most of them in performance. So if it has to be amd most suggest that the other is to go intel i3 2100 or i5 2500k. They are the most reccomended here for gaming.

Also the i3 2100 is only 15 dollars more then the fx-4100 you were looking at.
