Hello,
guys I am planning to buy my first gaming pc but i want to just make sure that my pc will be stable and good for nxt 3 years and, I am not a hard core gamer...
My pc specs
core i5 2500k
dH67CL 1333/1066MHZ
corsair 4gb ddr3
corsair G.S 600 watts
SEAGATE 500GB 3.5" HDD 16MB Cache
cooler master gladiator
hd 6870

I have mentioned my specs and know i want to know that in the near fiuture if i want to change my g.p.u will i b able to use hd 7000 series or not

Don't get H67, it's not overclockable. Try this mobo.

Try to get 8gb of RAM, it's not very expensive.

I like the Corsair TX series, more, get the TX650 (not M).

I recommend the Cooler Master HAF 922, much better cooling.

Are you still saving up for a 7xxx? I wouldn't buy a 6870 just to replace it in a few months.

hey cant u tell me another mobo which within the range of $100 and the brand which is easily available in my region is asuus or intel


i m interested in buying a hd 7850 or 6870 but the budget comes in the way and in pakistan 1 usd costs 91 rupee so its makes a bit difficult..

buying a the casing that u proposed is also expensive what about if i buy antec se 600

if you can't buy a P67, Z68 or Z77 motherboard, get an i5-2400 or something that doesn't have the K

honestly if you're limited by the parts you can buy there is nothing wrong with your part list. you can have the 2500k on the h67 board, just can't overclock, which is not important.

and you can upgrade to 7xxx series with that motherboard to answer your question.

Are you planning to overclock? If no, then get the h67 mobo & i5 2500/2400 non "K" version.
It will be sufficient for your gaming needs.

For the case, get the Cooler Master 690II Advanced/basic or the NZXT Tempest Evo.

Psu, try if you can get SeaSonic S12II 620w in your country.

I can afford to buy a dz68db mobo will it be fine then...

The dz68db is a fine board, but not the best board for overclocking.

just make sure the ram you buy is on the motherboard tested list.

nope the ram is not in the tested list of the mobo but i think it wont affect alot or will itt.
