The 6750 is pretty good GPU for the $. The 6770 would be the logical upgrade for about $10-20 more, but I don't know if that fits within your budget. I'm not sure what resolution your gaming under, but I'd expect that you should be able to play BF3 with decent settings up to 1680 x 1050 or so. It'll dpend on how much RAM you have too and what resolution your gaming under.

Yeah you should be fine. Which PSU do you have?

No idea.... how do i check it. btw will it be fine on 1440x900 too?

Reply to Balaw

You should be fine at 1440 x 900. I don't know which settings will be best, but the game should be playable.

i just found out my proccesor isnt good enough for that GPU i think mine is 500w do you have any recommendation for a gpu around the same price maybe abit lower ?

What do you mean your processor ain't good enough? It will work. Don't buy lesser card for the same price, it's not worth it.

Nvidia GTS 450 is a card with around same performance and price. It supports DX11 as well.

e8400 is a good CPU to have. Not sure why you think it isn't good enough. The GPU's I listed above are all good ones. Did you have some plans change??

wups sorry i ment power supply i have 500W i didnt say its bad but it cant run the hd6770

Reply to Balaw

500W power supply is more than enough for either hd6770 or GTS 450..

As long as it's a quality PSU. Generic and/or weak PSU's at 500w aren't the same thing as a quality 500w PSU. Don't assume that all 500w PSU's are made the same.

Well, recommended PSU for GTS 450 is 400W, and for HD 6770 its 450W. Of course though, if he has a crap PSU which cannot deliver enough power - it will not run - you are right, it needs to be a quality PSU.

Well if we had some more information (like make and model of the PSU) than we would know if his PSU was good enough for a 6770 or better. If it's an Antec Earthwatts 500w PSU than he'll be fine, but it's an off brand than I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole :)

how do i check that lol?

Open up the case and look at the sticker on the side of the PSU. It should be like this below:

you can run the 6770 unless your psu is really crappy, just check the brand and maybe also the amps on the 12V (s).
