Advice on New Build?

Hey, well here are the specs:

Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V LX, Intel Z68, S 1155, DDR3, SATA III - 6Gb/s, SATA RAID, PCIe 2.0 (x16), D-Sub/ DVI-D/ HDMI, ATX

RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR3 XMS3 PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, 1.5V

PSU: 500W PSU, Corsair Gaming Series GS500 CP-9020005-UK, 80% Eff', 80 PLUS, Quiet Fan, ATX v2.3

Case: Sharkoon T28 BLUE Mid Tower Case, USB 3.0, 3x 120mm LED Fans, w/o PSU

CPU: Intel Core i3 2100, 1155, Sdy Bridge, 3.1GHz, 5GT/s, HD2000 IGP 850Mhz, 3MB Cache, 31x, 65W, Retail

I'm on a budget of about ~£330. I know there is no current GPU, Will be buying a second-hand GTX 275, And Win7 HP.
Anything else I forgot to add? And how is the build at this price? Currently stands at £327.
(I have a HDD already)

  1. I would strongly recommend stretching your budget for an i5-2500k (with a decent cooler) as you will get MUCH better performance for a slightly smaller price. I know you have a crunched budget, but something to shoot for.
  2. The PEntium G680 performs as well as the 2100, get it. Use the savings to get a better graphics card. Please fill out the form entitled "How to ask for new build advice" sticked at the top of the forum
  3. Right, I've added a i5-2500k, (i've uped my budget to 400pounds~) and removed windows 7, and it comes to a total of 411. How does that sound? Is the mobo compatible?
