The "buy now - upgrade later" approach doesn't always work. I've tried it and it always leads to you spending more on your system than you really need to, as you'll have to, say if you're buying a GPU, you'll have to buy a new PSU, new RAM, and so on. When you build a system it's always best to get the best components you can for your budget and then you avoid upgrade hassles and headaches later on.

Fill this out and then we can help you choose better components for your budget: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261222-31-build-advice

I'd still recommend filling the form out then we can help you get better components for the money you're paying. There's a lot of cases where you certainly don't want to buy the same thing twice.
