Cheap CPU Cooler?

The title may be a little misleading considering when I mean cheap, I mean $15 or less. I'm not looking for a D14 performance, I just need something that performs better than stock, as long as it isn't too much louder. I heard the Xigmatek apache was just as loud as stock (louder by 1dB, actually) but much cooler.

I'm looking to buy two or three of these for some $350-400 PC's I'm building.

More about cheap cooler
  1. $19.99 after mail-in rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065

It's GREAT for the price, but it's pretty tall though, so that's a concern if you're using small cases.
  2. Hi :)

Using a cheap cooler is a bit like using a cheap helmet.....

    You are playing with fire.....literally....

    All the best Brett :)
  3. By saying that you're saying that all of the computers in my house with stock heatsinks should be on fire right now? :P

I may have to look up combo deals for that hyper 212. I have one in my machine right now actually, I just never thought to use it because I paid $35 for it :p

I was actually thinking about their 80mm and 92mm versions of the same cooler.
