Iam thinking of buying the new nvidiaGT520 graphics card.its an entry level card and what i want to know is whether my pc can handle it. my specs are as follows,
CPU intel pentiumD 925(3.0 ghz, 2mb cache).
motherboard intel 945gccr(max 2gb ram)
Ram 1.5gb(DDR2)
present gpu Nvidia 7200gs.
OS windows 7 ultimate 32bit and xp sp2
Do i have any point in buying the new gpu?.its ddr3 and my ram is ddr2 ,will this be a problem?

yes, your system can handle it but make sure you have 2gb ram and a psu with 450watts.no matter if the gpu is gddr5 and you ram is ddr2 then this is not the problem it should be fine.so you will be fine with that ddr3 gpu don't worry about it.ram has nothing to do with gpu's remember.

GT 520 requires a 300W psu actually.
