Hello,
I'm refurbishing an old computer for fun. Can I upgrade on my present motherboard : asus m2n-e? Also - can I use the same heat sink?

It's 939 pin - does that effect how much I can upgrade? Can I upgrade beyond the 4000s.

Also - can I use the same heat sink?

Hi :)

I know its 939 and my answer still applies....

Any cpu from 3500 x2 then all other x2s up to the fastest , which is a 6400 x2....

Heatsink will need to be better for a 6000x2 or a 6400x2 , but you can always try yours if its an OEM heasink and monitor the temps...

All the best Brett :)
