Hey guys, im from Ireland and I have recently started playing wow on my 4 year old laptop. The FPS and Graphics are nearly on the lowest settings so I want to be able to play it on the best settings, everything to the max. I will also be using the internet for College work using the programme AutoCAD.

Im willing to spend 1000 euro on it and that has to include a monitor as well. I was hoping to buy the parts of this website, http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=49....

If ye could help me with a build that would be great. Thanks

Hello,

WoW isn't the most demanding game so 1000€ should be more than enough, even with a monitor. I've heard good things about that web site, too.

Looking at this article (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/world-of-warcraft-catacly...) the 6870 seems more than enough for WoW.

http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=39... XFX 650W for future CrossFire ;)
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=46... Crucial m4 64GB
http://www1.hardwareversand.de/articledetail.jsp?aid=28... Samsung 500 GB Spinpoint

That should be a great system for the money and with nice upgradability too.

EDIT: that adds up to just below 1000€ plus shipping

^ Nice build :)

If the monitor ISN'T needed, id recommend spending on GTX 560Ti or 6950 over the 6870 (for more graphical performance).

I was wondering would I be able to play BF3 on the first build mentioned?

If not, what would I have to do to get it to run nice with it?

Sure, it should run at medium-high.
