I'm not sure if this is in the right place, if so im sorry..

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with my aspire one 532h-2ds netbook. When i switch it on it goes through a " startup repair is checking your system for problems " then after a few seconds i have two boxes that pop up. The top box being, startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically. Sending more information can help microsoft create solutions. Then i get two options, send information about this problem ( recommended ) or don't send.

The box below says..

Windows cannot repair this computer automatically

If you have recently attached a device to this computer, such as a camera or portable music player, remove it and restart your computer. If you continue to see tis message, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

Click finish to exit and shut down your computer.

If anyone could help me fix this or even restore the netbook id be greatly thankful.

P.S

I've tried the ALT & f10 but brings up, edit boot opions

Box two

If anyone needs any more information, please let me know.

Many thanks in advance

Even though this isn't my specialty, I'm assuming it's probably because you installed something new before the startup repair showed up.

I'm assuming these are the 2 most likely scenarios:
1. You installed something that edited or deleted key files in Windows system folder
2. HDD broke or powered off during write operation and corrupted drive.

I have the exact same problem. How can it be fixed?
