Hey guys,

I have a problem at the minute where my PC will take 2 attempts to boot.

When I press the power button, it appears to be booting (fans, lights etc all come on) and then it suddenly shuts down, only to restart a few seconds later and boot successfully.

My specs are in my sig, has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks,

Does it actually boot to BIOS (display stuff on the screen) or just stay on/fans running/lights on?

If it doesn't boot to BIOS/display stuff make sure you have both power plugs in, the one on the right side of the motherboard and the one to the topleft of the CPU.

Nope, just lights and fans etc

Im pretty sure all power connectors are installed correctly. I will check, but could it be anything else?

I'm not sure to be honest. I just know that when I put my system together I had the EXACT same thing happen. Turned out that I forgot to plug in the 8 pin EATX12V power to the motherboard from the PSU. This is located just northwest of the CPU along the top of the board (when in mounted position).
