Hello , i wanted to buy a decent graphics card , capable of playing latest games like BF3 , NFS The Run , COD MW 2 & similar to them .
My motherboard is ASUS P5G41C-M LX
Code:
http://in.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5G41CM_LX/
Monitor is 17 inches supporting resolution 1280 * 1024 with 60 Hz .
The budget around $70 to $80 , i figured out these cards.

XFX HD 6450 625 MHz Core 2GB DDR3 HDMI DVI VGA HD-645X-CNF2
Code:
http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/GraphicCards/HD%206000series/6450.aspx?product=103059
It looks good within budget & offering 2 gb of memory

XFX HD 6450 625 MHz Core 2GB DDR3 HDMI DVI VGAHD-645X-CNH2
Code:
http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/GraphicCards/HD%206000series/6450.aspx?product=103059
Similar to the one above except it doesn't have Fan , is that gonna make big difference in performance ?

XFX 810 MHz Core 2GB DDR3 HDMI DVI VGA GT-520M-CNF2
Code:
http://xfxforce.com/en-us/Products/Graphics-Cards/NVIDIA/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-Series/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-520.aspx
It will be also in the budget with 2 gb memory .

I am a new to the world of graphics card & this 1 is going to be my first graphics card . So all members please provide some thoughts which 1 should work good on my motherboard .
Some computer shops here saying as i have a INTEL chipset mother board the ATI chipset card won't work well & creat huge problems so go for NVIDIA , Is that true ?

And i got info from friend that XFX card built quality is good than anyother that's why i am looking for these . But if there is anyother card which is within my budget & can get all things good supporting my motherboard , please let me know

Cheers

no

XFX is quite popular but other brands like Asus and EVGA also fine. btw for your resolution you don't need gpu with 2GB of memory. the extra VRAM only benefit you if you play on very high resolution. and for the card you list down the 2GB VRAM still useless since the gpu core itself is weak when playing on higher resolution. and for BF3 the card you list down is weak to play the game even at low resolution. what is your cpu and power supply brand and wattage? for your budget you can look up for 5670 ir 6670 though i think your option might be can be limited to 5670 only.

Thank you so that mean's i can use any ati chipset card on intel chipset board.
my cpu is intel dual core 2.8 ghz , would soon going to upgrade it to core2duo or core2quad , & smps is 450 watt .
Will look for the 5670 or 6670 card if i can stretch my budget.

Thank you mate , but i haven't purchased anything online , what that rebate is all about ?

rather that upgrading to aging C2D or C2Q i think it is better if you go straight for i3-2100 build. a bit expensive route since you have to replace your mobo and ram as well but i3-2100 should last you a bit more longer if your only concern is gaming. what is your psu model and brand?
