Power Supply - How many watts will i need?

Have recently obtained most of my major components for my new build but I am not sure how many watts power supply I need. If anyone can please figure it out or even tell me how I can calculate it myself, the help will be much appreciated. List of components are as followed...

CPU - AMD FX-8150 Eight Core

Motherboard - Asus ROG Crosshair V Formula 990FX

RAM - Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz Dual Channel 8GB (2x4GB)

Graphics Cards - VTX3D HD6870x2
- Gigabyte HD6870 OC Edition
(Running In Tri-Fire)

Storage - Intel 520 SSD 120GB
- Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Cooling - Corsair H100 Liquid CPU Cooler

As well as 2 Bluray Optical Drives, case fans and fan controller all in a Coolermaster Storm Trooper Full Tower Case.

I've been told a 1000W 80+ PSU should be enough but am not sure.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks everyone.

More about power supply watts need
  1. 1000W 80+ should be fine, even if you overclock that 8150. Check out this PSU calculator if you want to mess around with your options.
