Does your laptop have HDMI output and your TV HDMI input? If so, it's easy.

OK, which BluRay player are you talking about?
How are you hooking that up to the laptop? Why not hook the BluRay player directly to the TV?

To confirm, you have a bluray disc drive in your laptop and you would like to display that on your tv?

Blind, I would recommend HDMI or VGA cable if the ports are available on your TV and on your laptop. You may have complications with the audio depending on how those ports were configured on the laptop, but it's not beyond the scope of possibility.

Hi :)

The ONLY way you can do it is this.....assuming the BR player has a USB OUT....

BLUERAY PLAYER in>>>>> to LAPTOP>> THEN OUT to TV

All the best Brett :)
