Which would be better for an HTPC build - i7-920 or Phenom II 1055T?

I can use either - or and before I rebuild this rig I'm really torn between the two. My i7-920 has served me well and I'd hate to see that hardware collect dust, but on the other hand the Phenom II is better suited for what I need it to do, and I have access to both and I'm wondering which one I should use. It's mainly going to function for video streaming, multimedia tasks, maybe some light gaming, and a music server. Right now it's using an Intel 975XBX board, Core 2 Duo T6600, and 8GB G.Skill RAM.

These are my options:

Option 1:

- CPU: i7-920
- RAM: 12GB Corsair XMS2 Triple Channel PC10666 1333MHz 1.5V
- Motherboard: Asus P6T
- Cooler: Need suggestions

Option 2:

- CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
- RAM: 4GB G.Skill 10666 1333MHz 1.35V (will upgrade to 8GB)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
- Cooler: Stock cooler

I'm leaning more toward the Intel because of the extra CPU and RAM power, but the AMD board is still a bit new - it's more than a few months old. I had a bit of issues with the Intel board but I'd like to reuse it if possible. The case is a bit cramped - it will need a top down fan like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608019
