New Graphic Card doesnt work?

Hey guys, I just got a new graphic card (ATI Radeon 5850 OEM).
After I installed it in the mother board I went to go turn it on.
My Computer just gave me a Long continuously high pitched beep.

My specs are 2x4GB DDR2 RAM pc2-8500
Amd Phenom II X4 840
gigabyte ma785gm-us2h
2 255GB HDDS 7200 rpm raid 0
Antec 300
Antec BP550 Plus 550W

Please Help :[

Did you plug in the power cords? That is usually the problem when you hear a beep like that.

As in the power cords to the graphics card.

And the beep is still there? Usually a good long beep means it is coming from the graphics card. I would try and see if the graphics card works in another computer if you can.

Make sure the card is properly seated on the slot...
