Thanks for the reply. How come in the picture of the Asrock Z68 at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168..., it shows PCI Express Slot 2.0 x 16, and not the 3.0 x 16 like in the details?

You could save even more $ by getting the Patriot Signature 2 x 4GB RAM 1600 MHz.

It says it's PCIe 3.0, I don't have the answer to why it shows a PCIe 2.0, either way, it won't really affect your build.
