I just installed Windows 7 Home Premium last night and everything went smoothly. I used it for a few hours then decided to put the computer in sleep mode overnight. I came back to it this evening and tried everything to wake it, to no avail. I tried restarting it, which had no effect. I ultimately had to force shutdown. I tried to power the machine back on but it wouldnt boot. No fans or internal hard drive activity at all. The only things that occurred were the blue power light came on and my external hard drive started up just fine. I could also hear the speakers activate but nothing else. I tried resetting the cmos, popping the battery out on the mobo, but neither did the trick. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks in advance

Do you have access to a different PSU? Like can you borrow one from another computer in the house or from somebody you know?

Often sleep mode problems are from bad PSUs.

Go through these menus and tell me what is listed in the last one

Control Panel>Power Options>Change Plan Settings>Change Advanced Power Options>Sleep settings.
