Gtx580 won't boot

Trying to boot computer I just bought
First owner had cleared hard drive and reinstalled window 7
When I tried to boot up computer I had no out put through dvi or hdmi
Pull card in put in a spare 9800 I had booted right away
Pulled card a tried a spare quadro 4500 would not boot
Right now going to re install windows and updates and drivers is there any trick to getting the 580 to boot up

The computer was built 6 months ago and used by builder with no reported issues
