hello, i have a ATI mobility Radeon x 1400 256 mb for dell inspiron 9400
what is the best graphics card that I can replace for it and works on windows 7 64 bits

Problem, Laptops do not upgrade as easy as desktops. Mobile cards are not in retail, are difficult to come by and are pricey! I suggest keeping it as is or upgrading to a new laptop!

You have run into a problem, that is upgrading old hardware (no driver support) with a new operating system! Your option is to try any mobility drivers from here for either Vista or 7 64bit until they work http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

but I've a hope to obtain that driver in this form or mayor information to resolve my situatión, my last chance I'll try to put in contact to microsoft support. If I have an succes anwer I'll publicate in this forum
