THEY ARE BOTH EQUALLY AS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!?!?!??!??!??!??!??!???! lol just typing the way you type. But i would recommend the newer 5670 because it has DX11 support over the older gt9800. Although dont expect much performance from either of those cards because your processor will be a huge bottleneck.

no, they aren't equal 9800gt is old but it can outperform the 5670.

Those are theoretical benchmarks, 99% of googles search results say they perform close to the same... I however haven't seen any benchmarks of those 2 cards though so....

I really don't think <3fps difference is that significant... and the lack of DX11 and it requiring extra power from the psu, my personal choice would be the 5670 because its newer tech.. but if he already ahs the 9800GT then just keep that
