I have some digital images of fossil leaves and several field trips to
the western foothills of California's Sierra Nevada uploaded at my
site, "Fossil Plants Of The Ione Basin, California" at

images were taken with a Nikon CooPix 995 and processed with Adobe
Photoshop 5.5 (please note--at my main page, the sequence of images
under the heading, "Days Of Discovery" are all scans from photographs I
took with a Nikon 35mm):
1) Fossil Leaves from the Middle Eocene (roughly 45 million years old)
Ione Formation (note--Images #3, #23 and #24 in the sequence were scans
