Display Problems

Hello,
I have a fairly new laptop bought at the beginning of this year, however, when I turned it on this morning I got this jarbled mess. The graphics quality had gone way down, and there was green wherever there was suppose to be black. I think my video card overheated, but I'm not sure. The question is, can I fix this without spending money?

And why do you think the gpu overheated, been playing long the evening before and blocked the vent openings or something ?

Did you try to (re) install ( new ) drivers ?

Well,starting today, my fans been going on like crazy. And I tried new drivers, no help

How clean are the ventilation openings, are they dustfree ?

I suppose so, but would cleaning the ventilation openings fix my problem?

Maybe, could be a heating problem, if the fan spins very loud it's maybe not getting enough cold air. But it could be to late indeed with the green color . . . Green is great but not for a monitor . . .

maybe download msi afterburner and check your gpu temp ( or something similar )

Thanks I will, but is there any way to know for sure whats wrong with it? If I'm going to buy something I want to know exactly what to get.

If you can fix this at all. Do you have a laptop with a removable gpu, most are soldered on the mobo
